Meet Laila

Hi, I'm Laila!

I believe every child can succeed when they're taught in a way that works for them.

As a certified special education teacher with 13 years of classroom experience and a Master's degree in General and Special Education, I've had the privilege of helping hundreds of students discover their strengths, build confidence, and achieve meaningful academic growth.

Whether your child needs support in reading, writing, math, executive functioning, social skills, or homework, I create personalized lessons that meet them where they are and celebrate every step of their progress.

My goal is not only to help students succeed in school, but to help them become confident, independent learners who believe in themselves.

When I'm not tutoring, I'm usually spending time with my three kids, exploring South Carolina, or creating educational resources that teachers use in classrooms across the country.

Why should I choose Laila?

Specialized support, flexible options, and trusted experience to help every child feel confident and successful.
